VESDA OSID uses imaginging technology in conjuction with an Emitter or reflector. When smoke is detected by changes in lightwaves between the emitter and Imager. OSID uses either reflective or dual ended setup. Reflective is a reflector plate that send back information from the emitter. The Dual Ended set up requires both emitter and imager/s.
