The Detector constantly draws air into the detectors chamber using built-in aspirator. The incoming air is continuously measured for smoke contamination. When smoke is detected, the detector will initiated its selector rotary valve system to individually sample air from each of the connected microbore connections. Following the this process, , the detector will then select the tube with the highest level of smoke contamination. The detector has three seperate alarm thresholds that can be programmed for Action, Alert and Fire. Each level of alarm will provide an output and also and audio visual alarm
